Compensation for Crop Damage Caused by Wildlife (in Revenue and Forest Villages)

Financial Benefits

Compensation is provided to farmers whose crops are damaged by wild animals.

Loss assessment is conducted as per Madhya Pradesh Revenue Book Circular, Volume 6, Clause 4.

The compensation amount depends on the extent of damage assessed by the designated authority.

Mode of Disbursement

Payment is made through e-payment directly into the farmer’s bank account.

Expected Time of Disbursement

Compensation is provided within 30 working days from the date of loss assessment.

The applicant must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh.

The applicant must be a farmer whose crops have been damaged.

The damage must be caused by wild animals and not by domestic or stray animals.

Registration

Step 1: Visit the Official Website of "Madhya Pradesh Lok Sewa Guarantee Portal".

Step 2: On the homepage, click "Citizen Registration". You will be taken to the registration page.

Step 3: On the registration page, fill in all the mandatory fields (name, mobile number, gender, and captcha) and click "Verify Mobile Number."

Step 4: A verification code will be sent to your mobile number. Enter the code and complete the registration.

Application

Step 1: Visit the Official Website of "Madhya Pradesh Lok Sewa Guarantee Portal".

Step 2: Enter your User ID, Password, and Captcha Code, and click "Login."

Step 3: Click on "Apply Online Service" and select the scheme you intend to apply for.

Step 4: In the scheme's online application form, fill in all the mandatory fields and upload all the mandatory documents in the specified format and size (fields marked with * are mandatory), and click "Submit".



NOTE: The applicant must inform the incident within 3 days of the damage as per Revenue Book Circular, Volume 6, Clause 4.
