Computer Training Scheme for Visually Impaired Persons

Computer Training with Screen-Reading Software

Two-month intensive computer training is provided using screen-reading software.

Training is conducted in two batches daily, each of four hours.

Training is delivered in seven divisions: Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Sagar, Rewa, and Ujjain.

Post-Training Laptop Support

Each beneficiary receives a laptop after successful completion of the two-month training program.

The training and laptop distribution benefits are one-time and non-recurring.

Training Infrastructure Support

Includes computer systems: Intel i3 or equivalent processor, 4 GB RAM, 250 GB or higher HDD, battery backup, and low-weight design.

Includes NBTR screen-reading software.

Includes instructor support and helper assistance.

Internet connectivity is provided during training.

Free access to an online library (provided at no cost by an external source).

The applicant must be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.

The applicant must have 40% or more visual impairment.

The applicant must belong to a Below Poverty Line (BPL) household.

The applicant must have passed class 8th with at least 50% marks.

The applicant is eligible to receive training only once under this scheme.

Samagra ID Creation:

The applicant visit the official website and click on the "Register".

On the new page, enter the Mobile number which was linked with Aadhaar Number and authenticate via OTP.

Now provide the Aadhaar number and enter the new OTP.

On the new page, provide the basic details, complete address

Give the consent and submit.

Application Process:

Joint Director/Deputy Director, Social Justice and Disabled Welfare will upload the data through online application on the departmental portal (http://socialjustice.mp.gov.in).

Domicile Certificate

Proof of Residential Address (Electricity Bill, Ration Card, Voter ID, or similar document)
