Empowering Schedule Tribe/Schedule Caste Communities Using Information And Communication Technology Tools

Free Information Technology Related Trainings: The scheme provides Information Technology related trainings to the Schedule Tribe and Schedule Caste beneficiaries free of cost.

Training Content: The trainings cover basic computer skills, various job oriented Information Technology training courses, and structural training programmes depending on the needs of the community.

Implementing Agency Funding: M/s Info Tech Corporation of Goa Limited (ITG) is nominated as the implementing agency and receives a Grant-in-Aid under the Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) and the Schedule Caste Sub Plan (SCSP) on a yearly basis for providing these free trainings.

The applicant must be of Goan Origin.

The applicant must belong to the Schedule Tribe/Schedule Caste Community.

The applicant must apply for courses offered under the Information Technology Knowledge Centers and available at the Information Technology training centers empanelled by M/s Info Tech Corporation of Goa Limited (ITG).

Step 1: The interested applicant should take a printout of the prescribed format of the application form.

Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, paste the passport-sized photograph (signed across, if required), and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).

Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents, within the prescribed period (if any), to -

The application forms, along with the required supporting documents, are to be submitted at the empanelled Information Technology Knowledge Centers (ITKCs) through which the applicant wishes to avail the courses. The application is addressed to The Managing Director, Info Tech Corporation of Goa Limited, Panaji-Goa.
