Ex-Gratia Grant for Clothes, Utensils, and Household Items to Disaster-Affected Families

Under this scheme, an ex-gratia grant of ₹2,500/- per family is provided for damage to clothes, and an additional ex-gratia grant of ₹2,500/- per family is provided for damage to utensils or household items.

The beneficiary must be a disaster-affected family from Uttarakhand whose house has been affected by a natural disaster.

Information about the disaster and the resulting damage is received from various sources. The concerned Patwari verifies the damage and records it in the P-20 form. The Patwari’s report is subsequently verified by the Tehsildar and the Sub-Divisional Magistrate. Approval is then obtained from the District Magistrate. Once the District Magistrate’s approval is received, relief funds are disbursed to the concerned beneficiaries at the Tehsil level.
