🚀 Application Process

Offline

Step 1: The interested applicant should take a printout of the prescribed format of the application form. Alternatively, the interested applicant may request the hard copy of the prescribed format of the application form from the concerned authority at the temple.

Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents.

Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form, along with the documents, to the concerned authority at the temple.

Post-Application Processes

Step 1: An official from the Department of Hindu Religious Institutions & Wakf will conduct an inspection of the temple following submission of the application.

Step 2: After the inspection, the estimates submitted by the applicant shall be forwarded to the competent authority for necessary technical approval.

Step 3: The application shall be processed within a mandatory period of one month from the date of submission and inspection.

Step 4: Sanction of the first installment of financial assistance shall be considered within a period of three months, depending solely upon the financial position of the Government at that time.

Step 5: To receive the further/second installment of assistance, the temple authorities must produce the Original Vouchers (for material purchase totaling not less than ₹2,50,000/-) and the Utilization Certificate. They may also need to furnish a necessary certificate from a Chartered Accountant.

Post-Selection Conditions for Benefit Disbursement

*The grant of financial assistance sanctioned must be utilized strictly for the purpose for which it is sanctioned.

*Any portion of the amount which remains unspent or unutilized must be duly surrendered to the Commissioner, Hindu Religious Institutions, Puducherry.

*The Government shall have the power to call for the accounts of the temple to verify the amount sanctioned.

*The accounts relating to the financial assistance sanctioned will be subject to audit by the Directorate of Accounts & Treasuries, Puducherry, or any other competent authority.

Plan And Estimates Duly Prepared By A Registered Engineer.

Document/Revenue Records Regarding Ownership Status Of The Temple, Including Patta Copy.

Certificate Obtained From The Concerned Taluk Office Indicating The Revenue Survey Number, Extent Of The Land, Title/Ownership, Etc. (If Ownership Document Is Not Available).

No Objection Certificate (N.O.C.) To That Effect (If The Land Is Government Puramboke Or Municipal Land).

Document For Having Donated The Land In The Name Of The Temple (If Owned By A Private Person).

Photographs Showing The Present Condition Of The Temple (Taken From Various Directions).

Copy Of The Bank Account Held In The Name Of The Temple.

Certificate In Form-'B' Obtained From An Officer Nominated By The Commissioner, Hindu Religious Institutions, Regarding Total Annual Income From All Sources.

Details Of The Board Of Trustees/Village Committee (If Applicable).

Brief History Of The Religious Institutions (Please Enclose Separately).

Benefit Disbursal Stage (For Further/Second Installment)

The Original Vouchers For Purchasing Materials Like Cement, Bricks, Steel, Etc., Not Less Than ₹2,50,000/-.

An Utilization Certificate For Having Utilized The Amount For The Purpose Sought.

Further Necessary Certificate Obtained From A Chartered Accountant Regarding Repair/Renovation Works And Financial Assistance Utilization.
