Financial Assistance to Helpless Artists

Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to artists to help them sustain themselves in old age or in case of disability.

The applicant must be a resident of Gujarat.

The applicant must be an artist who has made significant contributions in the field of art and literature.

The applicant must be 60 years of age or above.

The applicant must have a monthly income of less than ₹600/- (₹7,200/- annually).

The applicant must be physically disabled.

The applicant must be in poor economic condition.

Step 1: The interested applicant should write the application on plain paper.

Step 2: Attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required) along with the application.

Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application along with the documents to the Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department.
