Financial Assistance to Scheduled Tribe (Plains) Students for Coaching for Getting Admission into Medical/Engineering/IIT/etc.

Financial reimbursement for coaching expenses related to Medical/Engineering/IIT entrance exams.

The applicant must belong to the Scheduled Tribe (Plains) community.

The applicant must be undergoing or have completed coaching (within the last one year) for Medical/Engineering/IIT entrance examinations.

The applicant must have appeared/passed the 10+2 examination.

*Selection is based on merit (percentage secured in the Matriculation Examination).

Offline

Step 1: The interested applicant should take print of the prescribed format of the application form.

Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, paste the passport-sized photograph (signed across, if required), and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).

Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents, within the prescribed period (if any), to the Director, Welfare of Plain Tribes and Backward Classes, Assam, Rukmini Nagar, Guwahati - 781 006.

*Applicants are advised to retain a copy of the submitted application and acknowledgment for future reference.



Post-Application Processes

Step 1: Applications are scrutinized by a Selection Committee.

Step 2: Beneficiaries are approved based on a merit list (Matriculation Examination percentage).

Step 3: Selected candidates receive financial assistance as per scheme guidelines.
