Free Travel in Uttarakhand Transport Corporation Buses to Widowed Daughters-in-Law of Freedom Fighters

Under this scheme, widowed daughters-in-law of freedom fighters are entitled to free travel in Uttarakhand Transport Corporation (UTC) buses across the state.

The applicant must be a widowed daughter-in-law of a freedom fighter from Uttarakhand.

The beneficiary must possess a valid identity card for the journey.

To obtain an identity card, the widowed daughter-in-law of a freedom fighter must contact the concerned District Magistrate's office, inquire about the required documents, and submit the application.

The District Magistrate's office will then issue her an identity card, on the basis of which she can travel free of cost in the buses of the Uttarakhand Transport Corporation.
