Degree Level โ‚น450/- Maximum tenure two academic years for M.A./M.Sc.Hons./M.Sc. /M. Com./ M.Sc./ Home Science Course. Maximum tenue one academic year for B.T./B.Ed. Course.

B.Ed. / M.Phil / Ph.D. โ‚น900/- One Scholarship is Tenable at Jawahar Lal Nehru University, New Delhi for full duration of M.Phil./Ph.D. Course Minimum three years.


Note: For the students of integrated courses after 10+2 e.g. M.B.A./M.C.A./B.A.L.L.B./ B.Com. L.L.B./B.B.A.L.L.B./M.F.A. etc., the scholarship amount for initial three years will be amount fixed for UG course and for remaining period (i.e. 01,1 ยฝ , 2 years as the case may be) will be amount fixed for PG course.

Conditions for Receiving Benefits:

The applicant must maintain satisfactory academic performance.

The applicant must comply with the institutionโ€™s discipline and attendance requirements.

Mode of Disbursement:

Scholarships are directly transferred to the beneficiaryโ€™s bank account via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Frequency of Disbursement:

The scholarship is disbursed on a monthly basis for the entire academic year (12 months).

Validity:

The scholarship remains valid for the full duration of the academic program, provided the student meets the required academic and conduct standards.

โœ… Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must be a citizen of India and a domiciled resident of Haryana.

The applicant must have passed the qualifying examination from Punjab, Kurukshetra University, or any other recognized examining body.

The applicant must be enrolled in a recognized course in a higher education institution in Haryana or Chandigarh.

The applicant must have obtained at least a Second Division in the qualifying examination.

For Rural Area Merit Scholarships, the applicant must have secured at least 40% marks in Matric/Higher Secondary (Final)/Pre-University Examinations.

The applicant must not be receiving any other merit-based scholarship, except for need-based scholarships from specific welfare boards.


Note:

Preference/Priority/Reservation/Relaxation:

One Ph.D./M.Phil. scholarship is exclusively tenable at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.

Rural Area Merit Scholarships are limited to students whose parents permanently reside and earn their livelihood in rural areas.

Online

Registration Process:

Step 1: Click the Registration link at the Portal, if you are a new user. Existing users can click on the login button.

Step 2: Enter the Parivar Pehchaan Patra (Family ID), and a List of members will be displayed, Select your Name and Click on the "Generate OTP" button.

Step 3: Enter the OTP received on your registered Mobile Number and Click on the "Verify OTP" button.

Step 4: After OTP Verification, all the details get auto-filled in the Registration Form, and cross-check your information.

Step 5: Select Your Department and College, create your Password, and click on the "Register" Button.

Application Process:

Step 1: Click the login link at the Portal and enter your User ID and password to apply for the scholarship.

Step 2: Check eligibility for the scholarship and select the scholarship scheme.

Step 3: Click on the โ€œApplyโ€ button and provide all necessary details like Course, Roll No., Eligibility, etc.

Step 4: Save your application and then submit the application form after careful verification.

Application Tracking:

Step 1: The students can check their Scholarship Application Status using their details like their Aadhaar Number, Academic Session, and scheme applied for.
