Integrated Social Security Scheme - Pension For Physically Challenged Persons

A pension of ₹1000 per pensioner per month is deposited directly into their Bank Account through DBT mode.

The age of applicant should be between 18 and 79 years.

The applicant should have severe or multiple disabilities with a disability percentage of at least 40%.

The income of the applicant should be less than ₹ 75,000/- per annum or the applicant should be from the "Below Poverty Line (BPL)" Category.

Step 1: The application forms are available with DSWO/TSWO free of cost. The applicant shall submit the duly filled and signed application form (https://jkdswdj.jk.gov.in/pdf/FORMISSS1.pdf).along with the required documents reg. the age, income, status, and address, to the concerned Tehsil Social Welfare Officer against proper receipt.



Step 2: The concerned Tehsil Social Welfare Officer (TSWO) consolidates the list of eligible applicants under the scheme and forwards it to the concerned District Social Welfare Officer for the arrangement of funds and accord of sanction by a designated District level Sanctioning Committee headed by the Director General, Social welfare Department, Kashmir.



Step 3: The amount is disbursed to the beneficiaries through bank advice/money orders.

Income Certificate (of less than ₹ 75,000/- per annum or BPL Category)

Disability Certificate (40% and above) issued by Medical Board.
