Direct Income Support

Farmers with one acre or more of cultivable land receive β‚Ή10,000/- per annum, payable in two equal installments of β‚Ή5,000/- each (one for Kharif and one for Rabi season).

Farmers with less than one acre of cultivable land receive assistance on a pro-rata basis, subject to a minimum of β‚Ή4,000/- per annum, paid in two equal installments.

Death/Disability Benefit

In the event of the death of a farmer between the ages of 18 and 60 years, a one-time lump sum grant of β‚Ή2,00,000/- is provided to the legal heirs of the deceased. The farmer must have been enrolled under the Krishak Bandhu scheme at the time of death.

Step 1: The interested applicant should visit the nearest Gram Panchayat or the Office of the Assistant Director of Agriculture of the respective block, and request a hard copy of the prescribed format of the application form.

Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, paste the passport-sized photograph (signed across, if required), and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attested, if required).

Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents, within the prescribed period (if any), to the Gram Panchayat or the Office of the Assistant Director of Agriculture.

Step 4: Request a receipt or acknowledgement from the concerned authority to whom the application has been submitted. Ensure that the receipt contains essential details such as the date and time of submission, and a unique identification number (if applicable).
