A one-time scholarship of ₹10,000/- is provided per student.

Note: Payment will be made via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) into the beneficiary’s bank account.

The applicant should be a permanent resident of Bihar.

The applicant should be a student.

The applicant should belong to the Extremely Backward Class (BC-I) category.

The applicant should have passed the 10th class (Matric) examination in the first division from the Bihar School Examination Board, Patna.

Application Process:

The eligible students may contact their respective schools and ensure the availability of required documents such as a caste certificate, mark sheet, Aadhaar card, etc.

The Bihar School Examination Board provides the list of eligible students to the Education Department.

Documents and identity of eligible students are verified by the concerned authorities.

The authorized officer of the Education Department verifies and approves the disbursement.
