Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme-Bihar

Scholarship and maintenance allowance will be payable on the basis of the criteria prescribed in the resolution issued by the Government of India from time to time.

The applicant should be a permanent resident of Bihar state.

The caste of the applicant should be included in the list of Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class issued by the state government.

The applicant should be studying in higher classes after passing the Matriculation/Entry Examination.

The family’s annual income must not exceed the below-mentioned limit:

Extremely Backward Classes (EBC): ₹2,50,000/-.

Other Backward Classes (OBC): ₹3,00,000/-.

The scholarship will be awarded to only two (2) sons of the applicant's parents. This rule will not apply to daughters.

Step 1: Visit the official Post-Matric Scholarship Portal.

Step 2: Click on “New Students Registration”.

Step 3: Verify your Aadhaar details and mobile number.

Login:

Step 1: Visit the official Post-Matric Scholarship Portal.

Step 2: Click on “Login For Already Registered Students”. Log in using the required credentials.

Step 3: After getting the applied scholarship details, enter personal details, mobile verification and bank account details. Also, it will be mandatory to enter the details of the institute, course and certificates correctly.

Step 4: Verify all details and submit the application.

Step 5: Download and print the submitted application for future reference.
