Pragati Scholarship (81 for Uttarakhand girl students (Diploma) and 50 for Graduation)

Financial assistance of ₹50,000/- per annum is provided for girl students at the Diploma and Graduation levels.

The applicant must be a girl student.

The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand.

The applicant’s annual family income must not exceed ₹8,00,000/-.

A maximum of two girl children are allowed per family to avail of this scholarship.

These scholarships are administered by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Under the AICTE scheme, applications are invited through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) between September and December, and scholarships are awarded based on merit. Applicants are required to submit their high school and intermediate mark sheets and certificates, along with an income certificate.

For the Pragati Yojana, scholarships can be sanctioned to two girl students per institute, for which an income certificate is mandatory. For all AICTE schemes, students must first apply online through the institute where they are studying. The application is then verified by the Principal of the institute, followed by verification by the State Level Officer (S.L.O.), and finally forwarded to the AICTE, New Delhi for approval.
