Offline

Through the Child Welfare Committee and the Juvenile Justice Board, concerned children are admitted to the respective institutions. Complaints can also be lodged through the toll-free number 1098. At present, the following institutions/homes have been established in the state:

Government Child Care Institutions: A total of 05 institutions established in Dehradun, Haridwar, and Almora.

Government Communication Homes: A total of 10 homes established in Almora, Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital, Uttarkashi, Pauri, and Udham Singh Nagar.

Open Shelter Homes: A total of 07 homes established in Dehradun, Nainital, and Haridwar.

Birth certificate / Age proof of the child (if available)

Medical fitness certificate or health check-up report of the child (if available)

Police report / FIR / General Diary entry (in cases of abandoned or missing children) (if available)
