Registration of Herb Cultivators - Herbal Research and Development Institute, Uttarakhand

Registration of farmers cultivating medicinal and aromatic plants, simplification of the extraction process for cultivated herbs, and prevention of illegal exploitation of herbal resources from forest areas.

The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand.

The applicant must be a cultivator of medicinal and aromatic plants.

The applicant must either have their own resources on their measured land or be a cultivator encouraged by the Herbal Research and Development Institute, or a cultivator beneficiary supported by any other organization, institute, department, or voluntary organization.

Offline

After physical verification by the Institute’s Surveyor Assistant, the actual cultivated area is registered. The Surveyor Assistant prepares the registration form in the prescribed format, attaches the applicant’s Aadhaar card and the land’s Khasra details, and sends it to the Director of the Herbal Research and Development Institute, mandal gopeshwar chamoli. After obtaining the Director’s approval, the concerned District Coordinator completes the registration.
