Scheme to Provide Financial Assistance in the Form of Grant-In-Aid to Bhajani/ Choir/ Cultural Group/ Institutions for Purchase of Musical Instruments

Lumpsum grants / financial assistance to the maximum extent of ₹ 15,000/- per Group/ Institution for the purchase of Musical Instruments only.

NOTE: The Government / Department may restrict the number of groups/institutions in each category according to the availability of the funds.

The Mandal/ Group/ Institution/ Troupe should consist of at least a minimum of 10 members.

The Mandal/ Group/ Institution/ Troupe should be conducting regular musical performances like bhajans, choir singing, folk performances etc.

The Mandal/ Group/ Institution/ Troupe should not already have received the benefits of this scheme.

Offline

Step 1: The interested applicant should visit the Directorate Of Art & Culture, Government of Goa, 5th Floor, Shram Shakti Bhavan, Panaji, Patto, Panaji, Goa - 403001

Step 2: Take a print of the proforma of the application form, or request a hard copy from the concerned authority.

Step 3: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, paste the passport-sized photograph (signed across), and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest if required).

Copy of the Registration Certificate.

Report of the Activities i.e. Participation in the Various Competitions/Festivals and Other Activities Along With Participation Certification. (Mandatory)

Certificate of Existence and Functioning of the Group From Local MLA / Mamlatdar/ BDO/ Sarpanch/ Gazetted Officer etc. About the Functioning of the Groups/Artists. (Mandatory)

List of Artists / Groups Consisting of Artists Male / Female Along With Address (at Least 10 Members). (Mandatory)

Copy of the Id Proof of the Contact Person.(PAN Card, EPIC Card, Ration Card, Aadhar Card, Driver's License, Bank A/C etc.) (Mandatory)

Bank Details of the Group as Per Enclosed Format or Photocopy of the Cheque. (Mandatory)
