Sponsorship for Employment

Under this scheme, employment opportunities are provided to ex-servicemen and their legal dependents by sponsoring them for contractual posts through outsourcing.

The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand.

The applicant must be an ex-serviceman (Army, Navy, or Air Force), their legal dependent, or a widow of an ex-serviceman (Veer Nari).

Online

Firstly, the eligible candidates (ex-servicemen and their legal dependents) fill out the online application/enrollment form for the desired post on the UPNL website: www.upnl.co.in, based on their district, qualifications, and preferred location.

Based on the district-wise demand for posts received from various departments and the eligibility/qualification criteria for those posts, UPNL forwards the names of enrolled candidates with the relevant qualifications to the concerned department for selection, following district-wise and priority order of nomination.

As per the demand received from the department, UPNL sends the names of six enrolled candidates for each vacant post to the concerned department for consideration.

The final selection of candidates is made by the department according to its rules, and the information is subsequently communicated to UPNL.
