State Level Sports Awards - Uttarakhand

Under this scheme, in recognition of the remarkable success achieved by players and coaches of the state at the national and international levels, the following awards are conferred: Khel Ratna (1 player – ₹5.00 lakh), Himalaya Ratna (6 players – ₹1.00 lakh per player), and Dronacharya Award (2 coaches – ₹3.00 lakh per coach).

The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand.

The applicant must be a player or coach who has achieved remarkable success at the national or international level in the field of sports.

Applications are invited once a year for the State Awards, which are presented to eligible players and coaches in accordance with the prescribed standards.
