Cash Prize: Each of the two selected female artists is awarded a cash prize of ₹5,00,000/-.

Other Benefit: In addition to the monetary award, recipients receive a shawl and a certificate recognizing their contribution.

The applicant must be a resident of India.

The applicant must be a female artiste in the field of Indian classical music.

The applicant must have made notable contributions to classical music and demonstrated a distinguished record of achievement.

Step 1: The interested applicant should download the prescribed format of the application form.

Step 2: In the application form, provide all the mandatory details, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attested, if required).

Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the supporting documents to the Sangeet Natak Academy.

Step 4: Request a receipt or acknowledgement from the concerned authority to whom the application has been submitted.
